Breeding Rules

Not something I wanted to do but lately I've been feeling like I need to be a little clearer about my loves here.
SO!!! As of now, January 1st 2013, these rules are active and apply to ALL ASSASSIN HORSES!

1. All breedings, even crosses, must be approved from the group. We'll also give you all your possible genetics for the foal to insure that everything is worked correctly.
- Guys don't fret. I'll approve just about every one unless there is something funky with it (which I doubt there will be).
- If you're breeding for a certain color tell me and I'll be sure you get it so long as it's possible.
- I check the group daily and you won't have to wait AGES for a reply. Promise.

2. PLEASE!!! Review how specific Assassin Horse traits are passed!!!! This will be detailed below.

3. 1 foal per mare. If you want twins note me. I'll flip a coin. Heads you get twins, tails you just get 1/ 1 dies in the womb. Dark and sad but it's real life peeps.

4. THE MOST IMPORTANT NEW RULE!
- EACH horse is only allowed 10 initial breeding slots!
- When your horse reaches the rank of Infamous you have infinite slots!! We are trying to promote the breeding of high quality horses! Want to know how to get your horse to that rank? See this.

Crossbreeding Rules

Below are not so much rules as just reminders to stuff that's on the breed sheet.
I've found a lot of people want to cross their horses, which is fine, but they don't realize a lot of things change.

IT IS FORBIDDEN TO BREED AN AH HORSE TO ANY OTHER ASSASSIN'S CREED TYPE HORSE THAT IS NOT REGISTERED WITH THIS GROUP! MEANING NO BREEDING TO COPIES/SIMILAR BREEDS

When bred to a Normal Non-Assassin Horse

- Assassin Crest is lost
- Intelligence is lowered compared to a pure blood.
- Foals height will be an average of the dam and sire.

The Illusive Draft

- When breeding an AH mare to a draft stallion there is an 80% chance the foal will perish in-utro
- When breeding a Draft mare to an AH stallion there is an 80% chance the foal will perish in-utro.

~ Hope this clears things up and I apologize if this pisses anyone off.

Some people who had previously owned Assassin Horses find that they don't have time for their companions anymore. It's understandable and happens but if you find yourself in this situation just let us know! We are fully equip to find your mare, stallion or foal a new home!! Reclaimed Horses

Several people have failed to draw and thus 'pick up' their horses. RMS has been reclaimed these horses and they are now up for public Adoption!!! These horses are on the following pages:

If you are still interested in an Assassin Horse feel free to apply for any of these horses! They need homes!!
Imports are still closed and will probably remain closed for awhile. There is a good base population of Horses, people should start trying to breed for what they want.

Yeah I know guys. I'm sure some of you are going.
'Uuggg! Aurora!! Why!? Why do we have to make a credit point system!!!???'
Well I'll tell you. After making my own breed I realize why so many people have this system. To me at least, it's a way to keep the horses active. After all the main way to get credits is to draw the horses yeah? Well it makes sense! You draw them enough they get an ELITE status.
So!!! Here is my system which is mostly influenced by the all mighty and glorious

Basics of the System

To get your Assassin Horse to the rank of 'Elite' you need to gain 20 CPs.
I know that seems like a lot but since there aren't many of these guys around I'm making it high....^{for now}. What more these are not your typical, average horses. They require a lot of work.

Now just be sure to keep tract of your points.
I would suggest making a list on their main ref and have links to their pictures in one way or another. It makes things sooo much easier over all, trust me.

Awarding CP's
Alright so here's the important part, how much do certain pictures count for. Just look at the list below and find out! If I don't have something these just message me and I'll figure it out and add it

_{General pictures}
Ref picture = 1 CP
For each offspring = 0.5 CP
For the Breed picture _{(counts if you lease your stallion or mare and they are drawn by someone else)} = 1 CP
^{To clarify further, if you have a horse with a dam and sire they get 1 CP from the start, the more complete generations the more points}
Any full body image (something without a story) = 1 CP
A full body image with a story attached = 2 CP
( _{A story being longer than 3/4 page when pasted into a word doc at 12 pt font})
Headshots (Not including shows) = 0.5 CP

_{Breeding and Pedigrees}
For each Generation on a pedigree (Meaning you have a dam and sire for your horse, it's not foundation) = 1 CP
For each Assassin Horse ranking Noble or higher in your horses pedigree your horse may get an additional 2 CPs.
Meaning if your horses sire, dam, grand sire etc. is ranked noble or higher YOUR horse gets 2 CPs

Show entry where you placed below 3 place = 1 CP
Show entry where you placed 3rd = 2 CP
Show entry where you placed 2nd = 3 CP
Show entry where you placed 1st = 4 CP

Should your Assassin Horse win the 'Grand Champion' of a show you will win additional 10 pts on top of whatever points you get for placing _{(see above)}. We like to award excellence!

Show entry where you placed below 3 place = 2 CP
Show entry where you placed 3rd = 3 CP
Show entry where you placed 2nd = 4 CP
Show entry where you placed 1st = 5 CP
<sub>Pretty much it's the same as a regular show only one extra point. This is because it's either an event geared towards your Assassin Horse or exclusively for them.

Assassin Horse Ranking System
I've been debating this for some time now and finally decided it would be a fun idea. Ranks will be easy enough, just put them below OR above your credit points. Ranks are as follows
0-5 :: Amateur
6-10 :: Notable
11-19 :: Master
 20-29:: Elite
30-39 :: Noble
40+ :: Infamous

Should you Assassin Horse reach the rank of Infamous you will be allowed to import 1 Assassin Horse with a Rare Trait! You may choose the gender!

When entering shows with multiple pictures only 1 will count as your Show entry. The rest can/will be considered 'story pictures' so long as a story is attached.
